Stable, long-term tenancies that look after your property
Our foster carers are here to look after the children in their care for many years. As children progress and leave the foster home, we will work closely with our foster carers to find and match other children into their care.Sadly the demand for foster care is so great that there will always be children in need.
There are additional layers of security, safeguards and protection for your property with a HOME foster carer as a tenant. The fostering assessment process is a rigorous one and we undertake a whole raft of checks and references on each of our applicants.
There are strict legal regulations regarding the maintenance and upkeep of a foster carers property. HOME will quality assure this through regular visits, both announced and unannounced, to the property.
By renting to a foster carer, landlords play an important role in helping vulnerable children access safe and nurturing homes within their community.
By being a foster friendly landlord, you will have had a transformational impact on vulnerable children’s lives. HOME, our foster carers and the children we support will forever be grateful.
At HOME, we know that finding the right property is at the heart of creating stable, welcoming foster homes.
Our innovative fostering model supports amazing people who have all of the skills and qualities needed to become a foster carer into properties that have the space they need to keep brothers and sisters together.
If you have properties available and want to be part of a pioneering social impact project, we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can remove barriers for would-be foster carers and help keep siblings together in their communities.
