We’re so excited to kick off our first monthly Meet the Team spotlight series! This month, we’re introducing 𝗞𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵, our incredible Supervising Social Worker.

Kayleigh plays a huge role in the journey of our foster carers and has a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people. Her passion for sibling connections and the fostering community shines through in everything she does!

💚 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 – 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀?

“If there’s one thing my time in fostering has taught me, it’s this: there are simply not enough foster carers for the children who desperately need them. Behind every statistic is a child waiting for safety, stability, and someone to care - and too often, there just aren’t enough people there.

When I first came across HOME Fostering and their ‘different’ model, something just clicked. It felt right - simple, but incredibly powerful.

𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹. 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆, 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 - 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Siblings should stay together wherever possible because sometimes… they’re all each other has.”

“This one’s easy - watching four siblings become permanent with a family and having the chance to stay together right through to adulthood. This is what it’s all about, isn’t it? Positive outcomes for children.
